Himachal cop caught taking Rs 40,000 bribe

Shimla : SHO Jogindernagar , Shreshta Thakur was arrested Thursday for taking a bribe of Rs 40,000 by the state police vigilance team from Shimla .
Thakur was suspended immediately and was produced in a Mandi court Friday and sent on two days police remand , according to reports reaching the Hill Post .
Thakur reportedly demanded the money from a man for dismissing a case of suicide against his sister .He sounded the vigilance department who caught her red handed accepting the money .
