Shimla : A British national has died in the popular resort town of Manali in Himachal Pradesh, police said Sunday .
Tristan Eyre , 28 , was staying in a hotel in Manali , 280 km from here. On Saturday he was brought to hospital by his girl friend due to complications as a result of over drinking liquor .
Reports said Eyre was declared dead in the hospital on arrival . An autopsy report is awaited .The British high commission has been informed in New Delhi .
