Shimla: Robbers struck at the house of CRB Lalit, a retired bureaucrat, on Friday afternoon at his Lower Panthghati residence in Shimla and made away with cash, gold, clothes and expensive electronic gadgets.
In a statement before the police, Lalit said that on reaching home on 3.12.2010, he had found his house broken open and a Sony handycam camera, a Sony digital camera, a Yashika camera, a gold ring, silver ring, shwals, ladies suits, wrist watch and other valuables stolen from the house.
A case has been registered and police is investigating the matter, said a police spokesman.
