4 Dead, 18 injured in Himachal road accident

Shimla: Four persons were killed and 18 others injured, when an overloaded jeep carrying them lost control last night and went off the road and fell into the Gudasalli valley in Chirgaon area of Rohru in Shimla district.
Among the dead, two are women. Of the 18 injured, 3 seriously injured have been brought to IGMC hospital, here in Shimla, said a police spokesman.
Those dead include Vipin Dae (35), Negi Ram (50), Sheela Devi and Pappu (25).The injured have been admitted to a Primary health Center at Sandasu, police said.
A case has been registered and the cause of the accident was being investigated, he added.
