Bharti Airtel announces Monsoon Dhamaka contest for Himachal Subscribers

Shimla: Bharti Airtel, today announced the launch of ‘Monsoon Dhamaka’ contest for its postpaid and prepaid customers in Himachal Pradesh.
From participating in this contest – Airtel customers can get lucky and win from a wide range of exciting prices including a brand new Tata Nano as bumper prize, Rebook Sunglasses, and Benetton Wrist Watches every week and Reebok Bags everyday.
The contest involves making a call on 505484808 and answer simple questions on Bollywood. Each correct answer will earn the customer 10 points and the customer with the highest score at the end of the contest will drive home the Tata Nano. Other high scoring entries also stand a chance to win exciting merchandize from Benetton and Reebok.
The contest is open and will close on September 30, 2010, said Shashi Arora, CEO-UN, Mobile Services, Bharti Airtel.
This initiative is part of our efforts towards creating new ways for our customers to leverage and engage with the mobile platform, he said.
Bharti Airtel, the company that revolutionized mobile telephony in the country and now operates in 19 countries across Asia and Africa, started out by obtaining licensing for two circles: with one being Delhi and the other Himachal Pradesh in the early 1990’s.
