Heavy rain today and tomorrow in some parts of Himachal

Shimla: Paonta Sahib and Nahan in Sirmaur district experienced heavy rainfall of 222 mm and 102 mm, respectively as well as mercury dropped sharply in tribal areas. Yamuna and its tributaries were in spate, the water level of Sutlej, Ravi and Beas rivers was below danger mark.
Una received 11 mm of rains and was the hottest area in the region with 32.6 degrees while Kalpa recorded lowest temperature of 10.5 degree C. The maximum temperature dropped sharply to 10.2 and 11.9 degrees in Kalpa and Keylong.
Shimla recorded a maximum of 21 degree and minimum temperature staying at 15.6 degree with 20 mm of rains. Pachhad had 30 mm of rains, followed by , Kotkhai and Rohru 26 mm each, Bharwain 25 mm, Nurpur 24 mm, Rajgarh, Sangla and Saloni 20 mm each, Kumarsen 16 mm, Kasauli 15 mm and Rampur and Theog 14 mm each.
Heavy rain in next 24 hours is predicted in some parts of the state.
