Ashadeep Trains Himachal Police To Cope Up With Stress

Shimla: Concerned over the stressful lives of Police personals, Shimla based NGO, Ashadeep, today organized a day- long stress management workshop here today at Police Lines, Kaithu.
Inaugurating the workshop SSP, R M Sharma lauded the role of Ashadeep in holding such a workshop exclusively for the police personals.He threw light on the stressful conditions the police personals were working to deliver better to the society.
Sharma expressed anguish on the role of media for highlighting the image of police in a negative light, despite the fact that they are make an earnest effort to deliver their best.
He said that highlighting the positive aspects of the police personals too would help in boosting the morale of the police.
Ashadeep President, Sushil Tanwar, said that considering the fact that even police personals were untouched by stressful conditions, Ashadeep had decided to hold such programmes in series in near future. This being second such programme exclusively for the police personals this year.
Psychologist, Dr Randhir Ranta from Himachal Pradesh University and Sohan Singh from Chandigarh taking over the technical session gave tips for distressing. They also conducted self- awareness exercises and stress relieving techniques to the participating police personals.

This was a best step taken to make the police force the best in the work place. I do agree with the media when they project the images of the police force in bad lime lights. They have such bad aliments inside the force. I do request the Mr. RM Sharma to see them and remove these and deal with actions not with talks.
