Tech Mahindra jobs to 18 Himachal University IT Graduates

Shimla: Tech Mahindra, the IT major company that overtook fraud ridden Satyam Computers, last year, has offered campus placement to 18 Bachelor of Information Technology (B.Tech.I.T) final year students of Himachal University Institute of Information Technology (UIIT).
Placement incharge at UIIT, Dhirndra Sharma said that the Tech Mahindra had offered a package of Rs.3 Lakh per annum to the selected students.
The final year B Tech IT students selected are Gaurav Thakur, Hitesh Mahajan, Pankaj Kumar, AshitAntony, Vikramjeetsingh, KananGanjoo, Mandeep Singh, Kamlesh Kumari, Gunjan Mehta, Deepika Sharma, Aanchal Sood, Sukrpreet Kaur, Mayank Singhal, Vishard Sakhyan, Ishan Kaul, Ishan Katock, IshanSahore and Adiya Kharbanda, said Sharma.
Emphasising the need for equipping students for a fiercely competitive global job market, Vice Chancellor Sunil Kumar Gupta said that it was good work of UIIT that students had been offered placement by a reputed company.
Earlier batches of UIIT had also proven their merit and were manning well placed positions in many countries, said Gupta.
