3 Pilgrims Killed In Himachal Car Accident

Shimla: Three people were killed and one seriously injured in a car accident in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh.
The Maruti car in which they were travelling lost control and fell down about 50 meters into a ditch at Barog, 3 Km from Naina Devi – the pilgrimage centre.
The four occupants in the car were returning to their residences in Moga, Punjab after having paid obeisance at the pilgrimage centre when the mishap occurred.
The three dead victims, Pita Singh Nila Singh and Rommi died on the spot, Kuldeep Sharma – SP Bilaspur said. Virender, who has been seriously injured, has been admitted to the local hospital and is under treatment, he added.
The police have registered a case and the immediate cause of the accident could not be ascertained.
