Poacher Held With Leopord Skins In Himachal

Shimla: A poacher was arrested allegedly possessing two leopard skins when a police party seized the hides of two fully grown animals, police official said here today.
According to SP Sirmour, P.D.Parsad a police party seized skins of two fully grown leopards yesterday from the possession of a Gyan Singh near Nahan in Sirmaur district on a tip of crime.
He said one of the skins was eight-feet-three-inch long and the other was seven-feet-one-inch.
A case under relevant sections of the Wildlife Preservation Act has been registered against him. Nahan is close to the Renuka wildlife sanctuary, known for protected Leopards and Lions.
