Shopkeeper arrested with 13 Kgs of Charas

Shimla: A team from criminal investigation department (CID) arrested a shopkeeper in Bhular village, near the temple town of Hatkothi in Jubal and confiscated 13 Kgs of contraband Charas narcotic today.
A police spokesman disclosed that the raiding team was led by sub-inspector Rattan Singh and the small karyana store owner Krishan Kumar was arrested, after the contraband was discovered in his premises.
The raid was conducted on the basis of intelligence gathered by the crime branch of CID, the spokesman said.
Other premises of the shopkeeper were being searched till late in the evening.
