Shimla: Son of Rikhi Ram Kaundal, a BJP MLA, committed suicide in his native village Gharan in Gehrwin region of Bilaspur district.
Dinesh Kumar, son of Rikhi Ram Kaundal was found hanging from a ceiling fan by family members, said Kuldeep Sharma, SP Bilaspur.
The body has been taken for a post-mortem. Police is taking the unnatural death as a case of suicide, he said
Meanwhile chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal cut short his visit to Sirmaur district and rushed to Gehrwin to express his grief with the bereaved family.
