Shimla: To draw attention towards opportunities in hill tourism, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) in association with Himachal Tourism is to host a four day ‘Destination Himachal’ conference in second week of June.
The conclave will be held from June 12 to 15 at Shimla, said a PHDCCI spokesman. Special emphasis would be on attracting investments in the sector and there would be a session, “Unforgettable Himachal: Opportunities Unlimited’ that would bring potential investors face to face with authorities and potential tourism operators seeking investments, he said.
Divided into two parts, ‘Destination Himachal’ proposes to hold a two day travel and tourism conference in Hotel Peterhof and a four day exhibition at the Ridge Ground. All stake holders which include investors, hotels, government functionaries, tourists, writers, and others will get an opportunity to interact at the conference, said the spokesman.
