Shimla: The 22nd St John’s Old Boys’ Association (SJOBA) Thunderbolt Sub-Himalayan Rally flagged off today, from St. Johns School, Sector-26, Chandigarh to Koti Resorts, Shimla.
As usual Suresh Rana drove in as the winner of the SJOBA 1st leg with a lead of 45 seconds, Sunny Sidhu made second position. For third position there is confusion between Mohit and Major Brar.
In motorcycle category Yogesh Lakhani came first.
Talking to Suresh Rana about winning the SJOBA title he didn’t not seem much positive as his darling Gypsy was giving some problem. He told My Himachal that his rear wheel got flat but he did not stop to change and reached the line on tyre rim as a winner.
Update (March 23rd): Rana has won the SJOBA Rally by 6 seconds.
