Project Fly Across Himalaya challenge-Para Gliding

Aim of this event is to fly across Himalayan mountains in 10 days with 15 pilots from different countries as far as possible with the safest route .
Fly Himalaya, in a unique celebration of the oneness of the human spirit will have 15 professional pilots from across the world; fly a 500 to 600 km route across the range. The expedition is expected to stretch over a period of 10 days, but is subject to weather conditions. Flying from mid altitude to high Himalayan atmosphere peaks going up to 7000 m, these exceptionally talented pilots will collectively take off from Patni Top (2200 m ASL) situated in Jammu & Kashmir and proceed to Pithoragarh in Uttarkhand and on through to Himachal Pradesh. The connection will be done from peak to peak through bivouac flying and participants will proceed on foot only were necessary.
