‘Resurgent India’ photo exhibition

Sunder Nagar: Shimla unit of Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India is organising a photo exhibition from 27/1/2009 to 2/2/2009 on ‘Resurgent India’ in Municipal Council Hall at Sundernagar. This exhibition depicts the gradual journey of India from independence to a economic power of modern times. The photos show various developmental activities and schemes being run by Union and State Governments such as NREGA, SSA, National Rural Health Mission and Integrated Child Development Programme beside various other developmental schemes covering fields such as agriculture, irrigation, power, RTI etc.
 
Exhibition Officer Pramod Kumar Sharma and Exhibition Assistant Hemraj Sharma told that such exhibitions are organised from time to time all over the state to tell people about the development since independence and also to spread awareness about various schemes of government.
