Shimla: To cater to the festive mood over the year ender, tourism has made activity and entertainment arrangements, Manisha Nanda secretary tourism stated.
For New Year eve various events like gala night with live orchestra, DJ, Hindi Punjabi songs by male-female singers, dine ‘N’ dance, campfire, music dance, tambola would be the main attraction in famous tourist resorts, said Nanda.
Himachal tourism hotels at Shimla, Manali, Chail, Dalhousie and Dharamsala tourist circuits would organise special events during the festival season. Accommodation had been divided in around 15 categories, which could be booked over the internet, so as to facilitate all economy groups of tourists, she said.
