Dhumal urges Haryana and Punjab CMs to construct and repair their respective area roads

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, took up the issue of roadways with Prakash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab and Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Chief Minister of Haryana and requested both the CMs to dispose of the common issues in a phased manner through bilateral talks so that all northern States could be benefited.

Badal assured him that the construction work of Kurali-Siswan-Baddi road would be completed in a time bound manner latest by June, 2009 and necessary directions have been given to the concerned officers in this connection. Hooda assured Prof. Dhumal upon his request of repairing 18 kms. stretch of Pinjore-Baddi road from Pinjore to Madhwala which falls in Haryana State that the repair work on this road would be carried out within 30 days and the officers of the concerned department had been directed accordingly.
