Jogindernagar police arrest two with charas

Shimla: Stepping up the drive against narcotic trade, the police in Jogindernagar arrested two persons carrying charas (marijuana) and has registered a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotic Substance Act.
Lekh Ram and Lal Singh of tehsil Poddar in Mandi district were arrested in an early morning naka near Boolang village when they were found in possession of 850 grams of charas, a Jogindernagar police station spokesman said. They were on a motorcycle and were coming from Barot side. The contraband was recovered from a bag which one of them was carrying, police said.
