Proposal for high class luxury resort near Kasauli

[lang_en]KUMARHATTI: The ASCOT Hotels and Resorts Limited has reportedly given its proposal to the state government to construct a high class luxury resort near Kasauli. The company was believed to put an invest Rs. 292 crore in project under which it would also connect Kasauli with a ropeway.
The idea behind project was to tap the high end tourists visiting the state. A delegation of company led by its Managing Director, Mr. Vikram Bakshi has already met the CM last evening. The delegation has been assured that the state government would examine the proposal and explore the possibility to sanction the project.
It may be mentioned here that the certain rules and regulations were in vogue to regulate development and constructions in the Kasauli area for which the state government had framed a Development Plan for Kasauli Planning area. Even CM has pointed out that the provisions therein would be required to be adhered to by the executors of the project so that the glory of the hill station was upheld.[/lang_en]
