Empower youth to bring a change-Dhumal

While presiding over the closing ceremony of Youth Leadership Training Programme organized by Art of Living organization here last evening, the Chief Minister P.K.Dhumal said that empowering and transforming youth energy to enable them to undertake challenges efficiently is of utmost importance to build a strong and vibrant society. He said that in particular rural youth should be trained in a wide spectrum of activities so as to inculcate in them the qualities of leadership and commitment.
He further said that India since time immemorial was known as “Vishwa Guru”, due to its great philosophers, saints and thinkers while organizations like Art of Living were working hard to restore human values and to create a sense of belongingness, which was laudable endeavor. He praised the organization for channelizing manpower towards constructive activities He said that the “Divya Samaj Nirman Abhiyan” of the Art of Living, would not only help in sensitizing the village communities regarding maximum utilization and management of their natural resources, but also empower them socially and economically.
