Himachal Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation Limited has managed to come out of the red that too with a net profit of 549.42 lakhs during the preceding financial year ending on 31st March, 2008.
The Chief Minister congratulated the management of the Corporation and said that it serves as an example to other public sector undertakings. He said that the government was trying hard to bring all the PSUs running under losses out of it by diversifying the activities in order to earn revenue to the state besides meeting its own requirements.
