Six new bus terminals to come up in Himachal

Six new bus terminals equipped with latest and modern facilities would be constructed in the state as per Kishan Kapoor, Transport Minister while presiding over a review meeting of the Board of Directors of H.P. Bus Stands Management and Development Authority here today.
These bus stands would come up at Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Dharamsala, Chamba, Nalagarh and Baddi while proper parking of buses would be ensured. The construction would be conducted on the basis of BOT (Built Operate Transfer) near National Highways. He further announced that the construction work on the Tutikandi, Interstate bus terminal was being carried out and would be completed by 31st March, 2009 meanwhile a six member Committee has been set up to review the construction work of Mcleodganj bus stand at Dharamsala. He also requested for cooperation of hydel projects needed for the bus stands under construction at Rohru and Chamba.
