Himachal government looking forward to a long term sustainable Industrial Policy

Formulation of a long term sustainable Industrial Policy in order to enhance industry friendly environment in different sectors is the next consideration of the state government announced Prem Kumar Dhumal, the Chief Minister, at a conference discussing industrial promotion prospects with the National BJP Industrial Cell.
Keeping in view, the major expansion that the state has undergone in the recent years especially after the announcement of the Special Industrial Package, he said that a large number of multinational industrial houses are coming forward which is also contributing in creating quality industrial investment friendly infrastructure. He further stated that there have been efforts for developing the state and catering to the knowledge of masses plus providing policies to strengthen agriculture and horticulture sectors in lieu of an all round development.
Mentioning the privilege of setting up first IT University in the country way back during his earlier tenure as the Chief Minister, he announced that more private universities would be given permits meanwhile developing a conducive environment for information technology industries.
