Himachal to have two-lane road from Theog to Rohroo

Shimla: Keeping in view the inconvenience faced by the fruit and vegetable growers, Himachal Government has signed an agreement of constructing a two-lane road of 80 kilometres from Theog to Rohroo in Shimla district with a Chinese company, Long Jian Road & Bridge Limited.
The Rs. 228 Crores project is scheduled to complete in 3 years according to the agreement with the construction of 15 bridges, 280 culverts, 6.5 kms of retaining walls, 28 kms of breast walls, covered drain with foot path in 5.5 kms length and 30 rain shelters.
Arun Sharma, Chief Engineer-cum-Project Director signed the agreement on behalf of the Himachal Pradesh Road Infrastructure Development Corporation whereas Li Guangsheng, Director of Long Jian Road & Bridge Limited signed the agreement on behalf of the Company.
