Himachal Government dedicated to the interests of vulnerable section

scoial.jpgA deputation led by Indira Thakur, State President of the Anganwari Workers and Helpers Union met Mrs Sarveen Chaudhary, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister today.

Chaudhary after a patient hearing assured them of fulfillment of the genuine demands. She said that the state has welfare of women and weaker sections as one of the topmost priorities. While urging to the anganwari workers and helpers to collaborate for better results, she added that she is looking forward to the increment in honorarium of anganwari workers and helpers from 2000 to 4000 rupees per month.

As per her, the Janshri Bima Yojna is under implementation with respect to the various child development projects. The project would facilitate Rs. 30,000 to deserving persons in case of natural death, Rs. 75,000 in case of death due to accident or sheer handicap, Rs. 3,75,00 in case of partial handicap.

A quarterly scholarship of 300 rupees would be provided for additional member in case of pursuing education from 9th to 12th classes and training under Shiksha Sahyog Yojna.
