Shimla: Rana Shamsher Singh of Una penned some poems and today released this compilation of poems under the title ‘Abhimannu Kis-Kis se Lade’ by the hands of Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal.
Dhumal was addressing an assembly of litterateurs of Una where he said that littérateurs have the capability to revolutionise the society with innovative ideas and change the mindset of the people for the betterment of the common man.
He congratulated Singh and hoped that the poet will continue his research over the historical and cultural heritage of the district and write about it, for which he is aiming at.
Dhumal encouraged the author and said that Singh’s effort will preserve the historical and cultural heritage of Una for future generations to come.
Raised in Shimla and originally from Mandi district, Disha wears many caps which includes being part of a lead team of a fast growing IT company based out of Chandigarh. Earlier Disha was associated with My Himachal and visits Shimla regularly.
