Rats In IGMC Mortuary

Shimla: Recently, a shameful and bizzarre incident happened in prestigious the Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC), where notorious rats ate some body parts of a dead body of Ramesh Kumar.
It was reported that Ramesh had committed suicide and his dead body was kept for autopsy, where rats ate the right eye completely while the lips and cheeks were partly eaten.
However, superintendent of the hospital denied that the damage to the corpse was because of rat infestation in the mortuary and said that hospital authorities were taking measures to improve it.
