3 arrested in Tractor driver murder case

KUMARHATTI: Making breakthrough in a murder case of tractor driver, Prem Lal the police today arrested three persons including a woman in and around Baddi. Mahaveer Singh, Om Prakash both from UP and Lakshmi who hailed from Bihar were arrested for allegedly murdering Prem Pal.
Prem Pal’s blood stained dead body was found in a tractor trolley on February 19. As per information available the deceased was with Mahaveer Singh and Om Prakash on February 18 night. The trio were well known to each other, they had worked together as tractor drivers with same employer.
On February 18 evening they planned to enjoy by organizing a small liquor party. A scuffle between the deceased and Mahaveer led to bloody fight thus Mahaveer with the help of his paramour Lakshmi and Om Prakash murdered Prem Pal. The trio after killing Prem Pal dumped his dead body in his tractor. The dead body was noticed by a passerby in trolley that was parked at Doon Tempo Union office on Baddi-Barotiwala road few meters away from slum area where deceased resided with his family.
The today arrest was in fact outcome of some hard work put by the team of police team consisted of Mr. Rupinder Singh, SHO, Mr. Gulam Akram, ASI and Mr. Harpal the Head Constable. The team tracked down the calls made by the accused from their cell phones on February 18 and following day.
