State Forensic Science Awareness Week

Shimla: In the beginning of this year Himachal Governor V.S. Kokje visited the State Forensic Science Laboratory (SFSL) Junga, there he said that awareness among the masses about latest advancements in the field of forensic science technology can be helpful for preserving evidences and protecting the scene of crime before the arrival of Police and forensic experts. So, today J.R. Gaur, Director, State Forensic Science Laboratory, revealed that State Forensic Science Laboratory, Junga would celebrate Forensic Science Awareness Week from 31st December to 6th January, 2008.
The week long progamme is organized to educate the people, especially the younger generation about forensic science with the help of various programmes. Moreover, an exhibition is also organized from 4th to 6th January, 2008, to depict various aspects of forensic science at Bantony Hall, The Mall Shimla, he added.
