HAMIRPUR: Onkar Sharma, the Director Transport is the new Deputy Commissioner of Una. He will take over from Rajesh Kumar who has been shifted from there on health grounds. Kumar was ailing for last fifteen days and has been out of station since then.
This was stated in an official press release issued by the Election Department. There was no mention about the posting of Rajesh Kumar.
It is worth mentioning here that all transfers of government officers/officials in the state are under the direct control of the Election Commission and for getting this order issued permission was also obtained from the Election Commission of India.
