Total 435 candidates filed nominations for 2nd Phase of Assembly Elections

Shimla: On the last day to file nomination papers 154 candidates filed their papers, thus rounding to 435 candidates in total from all 65 constituencies for the second stage of Assembly Elections.
Maximum candidates to file papers were from BSP today, among whom there were some fallen apples like Karan Singh and Dharmvir Dhammi to join the party.
Karan Singh was BJP minister who entered his papers as the BSP candidate from Banjar seat and Dharmvir Dhammi, a congress activist said goodbye to the party to contest as a BSP candidate from Kullu.
