Himachal governor visits Mountain Agriculture Research and Extension Centre, Sangla

Himahal governor, V.S. Kokje, today visited Mountain Agriculture Research and Extension Centre, Sangla in Kinnaur district.
Speaking on the occasion, Kokje said that Agriculture scientists should introduce new technology for quality agriculture produce in Himachal Pradesh and such technologies could be adopted through research and without putting burden on the economy of common farmer. He also directed that Research Centres should be more vibrant so that farm based problems are solved at these centres only, he added.
Governor evinced keen interest in Kalazeera and Saffron Farming at this centre for which this centre is known.
