Two committed suicide in Kangra

Two women living in the out skirts of Kangra town committed suicide consuming pesticides at their residences in village Gurkhari and Soura last evening and died, the Police said today.
According to Surender Sharma, SHO Kangra, a 21 year old woman Mala a resident of village Gurkhari who was married a year back consumed pesticides last evening at her residence, when only her sister in law was present there. She was rushed to Kangra Civil Hospital and later on referred to Dharamshala where she died.
In another case Leela Devi, 55 of village Soura who also consumed some medicine at her home was rushed to Dharamshala hospital where she died. Police was investigating into both cases, the SHO added.
