News Paper Office gharoued

NAHAN : More than two hundred people under the banner of Rajput Sabha, today gharoued district office of a Hindi Daily published from Panchkula and Mataur [Kangra], raised slogans and burnt copies of news papers.

Protestants raised exhibited their strength for over half an hour and announced that if paper does not contradict the news items published, within three days the agitation would be intensified. The agitation however remained peaceful.

Mr Sanjeev Awasthi, President, Sirmour Union of Journalists has appealed all the section of society to resolve their differences by adopting peaceful and legal means. He said that taking out protest marches and burning news papers does not solve any problem.
