JOURNALIST BODY DECRY ATTACK ON JOURNALIST

NAHAN: In an emergent meeting called here today Sirmour Union of Journalists has strongly condemned attack on a local journalist in the Naya Bazar area last night.
The meeting which held under the Chairmanship of Chief advisor S. R. Pundir and President Sanjiv Awasthi demanded protection for the journalist Shailendra Kalra and strict action against the person involved in this attack.
In a communication sent to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh after the meeting, Sanjiv Awasthi has expressed deep concern on the increasing attacks on the journalists in the state. He has urged Chief Minister to provide protection to the journalists in the state and take strict action against those involved in such attacks.
