Admission and Counseling for SCVT Courses

Shimla: Spokesman of Technical Education said here today that applications were being invited from those candidates who could not apply earlier for admission to various vocational courses under State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) in various vocational training centres for session 2007-08 upto 14th September, 2007.

He said that prospectus-cum- information brochure would be available upto 14th September, 2007 in the offices of Principal, Government Polytechnic Colleges, Kangra, Hamirpur, Ambota, Rohru, Kandaghat, ITIs Mandi, (PH) Sundernagar, Bilaspur, Shahpur, Nurpur, (W) Dharamsala, (W) Hamirpur, Chamba, Nehran Pukhar, Nadaun at Rail, Una, Nalagarh, Solan, Nahan, Paonta Sahib, Shimla, Jubbal, Rampur, Rekong Peo, Udaipur, Resident Commissioner, Pangi and SDM Kaza on cash payment of Rs. 200.

He further said that the third round of counseling which was scheduled to be held on 5th September has been postponed and rescheduled. He said that last date for receipt of application forms in respective counseling zone would be 14th September,07 upto 5 p.m. He said that counseling for SC/ST/OBCs and their sub reserve categories for 10+2 level courses would be held on 18th September, 07 at 10 a.m. and added that counseling for general category and its sub reserve categories would be held on 19th September, 07 at 10 a.m. He said that counseling for SC/ST/OBCs and their sub reserve categories for matric level courses would be held on 22nd September, 07 at 10 a.m. and added that counseling for general category and its sub reserve categories would be held on 23rd September, 07 at 10 a.m at concerned counseling centres .
