The Himachal Pradesh state committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) demands immediate compensation of at least Rs 5 lakh to the family of the victim named Dinesh who died yesterday following irresponsible behaviour on part of both the Congress and the BJP parties. The CPIM has further demanded a registration of an FIR against the leaders of both the BJP and the Congress and investigations under section 302 of the IPC must be carried out. In addition, the police and the district administration must be roped in for their utmost neglect towards the problem, which led to the death of an innocent child Dinesh from Sarkaghat.
The CPIM has stated, it is indeed shocking to note that two different set of parameters were adopted by the administration during the protest demonstrations outside the Vidhan Sabha. Whereas to the other democratic organizations the administration does not allow to cross the Kennedy Chowk , the Congress party was , yesterday allowed to rally at their own will as if the Vidhan Sabha is the private property of the Congress party. The CPIM has stated, the lies of the government must be nailed down regarding permission for an open rally at the Vidhan Sabha Chowk. Actually the permission was given to the youth organization (permission copy attached) to protest at the Chowk, but keeping all norms aside the Congress party continued its occupancy of the chowk right from 9.00 am in the morning to 3.30 p.m. in the evening. The CPIM , has warned that in case the FIR is not registered , the party shall even approach the court for adequate action.
