Tourism Minister GS Bali in TV expose

divya-himachal.jpgHimachal transport and tourism minister and right hand man of Himachal Chief Minister, GS Bali is exposed by Star News in a sting operation.

Bali is shown drinking and partying with women in the sting operation in a party hosted on Bali’s birthday at Dharamshala. The channel says the women were call girls from New Delhi.

Bali has denied the allegation and alleged that TV expose shows only one side of the story. According to him, it was a family gathering, and the party featured his family members including his son, daughter and others.

Although he has agreed to resign from Himachal cabinet. When Himachal CM was interviewed he demanded resignation of Bali.

Update : Chief Minister, Mr Virbhadra Singh accepts the resignation of Bali.

    Himachal Pradesh Transport Minister GS Bali late on Saturday was set to step down after a TV news channel’s expose purportedly showed him in company of “call girls”.

    Private channel Star News late on Saturday showed Bali dancing and drinking with women on his birthday on Friday at a party in the resort town of Dharamsala. The channel says the women were call girls from New Delhi.

    Bali, however, denied that the women were call girls. According to him, it was a family gathering, and the party featured his family members including his son, daughter and others.

    “This news story only shows one side of the story,” he said.

    However, he told the channel: “I am going to resign later this night in public interest.”

    Above all Himachal’s PR department has failed miserably! The so called IT savvy department, where Himachal CM is so supportive and always attending so called big conferences of these big departments, flying in helicopter to attend employee union meetings, putting burden on already indebted state! Why the heck he has company of only corrupt people, Bali is known controversial figure in HP, why did Himachal CM kept him as his right hand man.

    He kicked Major Mankotia out of party when he raised the corruption issue against CM? And Bali episode proves, all keep company of corrupts! Worst of all some of major government officials were thee. Even former secretary was there. After all this is the moral standard they have, don’t they have daughters? Its all great nexus between bureaucrats and power holders and brokers. They all work together as end goal is to make money. Last year Bali organised a Star Blast night where government officials distributed duplicate tickets without serial numbers. I mean this is too much. Are they not satisfied with salaries which are some of the highest in India. Above that they are making millions by destroying Himachal’s environment and ecology by selling power projects in every nook and corner of the state. Senior IAS officer T.C. Janartha was also in this hotel dance party! Even last year Bali was again in controversy when a company was offered full rights to develop a high end SKI cum other outdoor activities in Kangra’s Dhauladhar hills. NOTHING came out of that ever! Himachal CM shielded Bali always even knowing everything and now he and his CONGRESS party would pay price. High command should check now that if the leader is not able to keep its fold together then he has no right to lead. Same way in Himachal we have gaddis (nomads) who graze their sheeps around planes, so when one Gaddi is not able to keep the flock together its his responsibility and he is the one who faces the loss not the sheep or the dog. Learn!

    At this point of time, you can see who everything was manipulated.
    Today, everyone knows –
    1. That was simply a birthday celebration.
    2. He was the man, who himself offered his resignation.
    3. Judicial enquiry conducted against him has given clean chit.
    4. Honorable Supreme Court has upheld that there was nothing wrong there.
    5. The public is with him as always.
    Sometimes, media do this all for cheap publicity, which must be discarded.
