Himachal Chief Justice innagurates Paonta Court complex

NAHAN JULY:Chief Justice of Himachal High Court Hon’ble Shri Justice V.K.Gupta today inaugurated new judicial complex at Paonta Sahib constructed with a cost of Rs.63 lacs. The complex has two courts and sufficient seating facility for a large number of person attending the courts daily.
Speaking on this occasion Hon’ble Justice V.K Gupta said that required facilities could be provided to every pillar of judicial system for smooth functioning of judicial process with construction of new judicial complex at sub division level in Paonta town. He said that existing facilities at Paonta Sahib were required to be up graded and new judicial complex was equipped with all facilities.
District and Session Judge K.L.Sharma while welcoming the Chief Justice said that the judicial system in the state had improved due to creation of new posts and added that infrastructure had been greatly improved during past few years.
President Bar Association Paonta Sahib Sanjeev Rana said that judiciary system in the state had improved and requested that court of additional and District Session Judge should be opened at Paonta Sahib.
M.L.A. Paonta Assembly constuency Mr Sukh Ram Chaudhary, former Chief Parliament Secretary Rattan Singh , Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur R.S.Negi several Judicial Officers, officer bearers of Sirmour Bar Association and several senior lawyers were among the distinguished person present on this occasion.
Earlier Chief Justice inspected construction work of judicial complex at Nahan and commended work done by PWD department.
