Tourism minister, GS Bali organized a Bal Utsav in Kangra district so as to show strength of Congress party and in general his own show of strength to Virbhadra Singh so that he himself (GS Bali) is projected CM candidate whenever Virbhadra Singh resigns from active politics. Same kind of shows were held in past decades by veteran Congress leaders but Singh is still CM and still active and shows no sign of fatigue.
Major Vijay Singh Mankotia being hot blooded and strong Rajput leader raised the leadership issue in Congress many time but failed every time, only time would show what he can do with BSP, as when Sukh Ram floated HVK, he at least had people’s support due to best telecommunication facilities he brought from Central government. Whether one says its India’s growth or best time for developmental activities, present Congress government brought best aviation facilities for Gaggal (Kangra) airport which would eventually pave the way for lower Himachal development.
Chief Minister presided over the closing ceremony of three-day long Bal Vikas Utsav organized by Bal Vikas Samiti at Nagrota Bagwan in district Kangra today and planted a sapling to mark the celebration.
He said that Zonal administration and developmental offices had been opened at Dharamshala with a view to facilitate the people of the area avail of its services near to their homes. He said that new Vidhan Sabha Complex was constructed at Tapovan, near Dharmshala in a record time and two of the winter sessions of H.P. Vidhan Sabha held in the area. He said that his Government was committed towards the speedily development of the areas which had remained under-developed so that such areas could be brought at par with most of the developed areas.
