CM announces Schools and Dispensaries for Chachiot, Mandi in Himachal

Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister announced three senior secondary, two middle, one primary school and two veterinary dispensaries at different places in Chachiot assembly segment of district Mandi to be made functional on priority. He acceded to the various demands of the deputation of Chachiot area lead by former MLA Pandit Shiv Lal which called on him here late last evening.
Chief Minister said that his government had been liberal with regard to opening of educational and health institutions in the rural areas of the state so that people could avail of the same facilities near to their homes. He said that uniform and balanced development was the policy of his government and the same was being ensured by rising above all political considerations. He said that the strong network of educational and health institutions had been instrumental in making Himachal Pradesh the leader in both the sectors. He said that the infrastructure building and strengthening of the network was being carried further with new innovations to deliver the people quality education and health services.
Virbhadra Singh said that rural areas had been the focal point of all the policies and programmes of his government with a view to start the development process at the very grass root level and deliver them best of the services at their door steps. He said that he was satisfied with the pace of development in the rural areas since almost all the gram panchayats had been connected with motorable roads, safe drinking water facilities, large number of educational institutions opened to cater to their educational needs besides well equipped health and veterinary institutions. He said that all such infrastructural facilities were capable of providing the people basic necessities of the rural folk. He said that the basic infrastructure thus created was being consolidated and strengthened to deliver quality services.
Chief Minister approved upgradation of government high schools of Sarachi in gram panchayat Kalhani, Bassi in the same gram panchayat and Shikawari also in the same gram panchayat to the senior secondary schools; government primary schools of Delag Tikari in same gram panchayat, and Kasaur also in the same gram panchayat to middle standard. He also sanctioned one government primary school for village Bhalayari in gram panchayati Khani, subtehsil Bali Chowki. He also sanctioned veterinary dispensaries for village Dharot in gram panchayat, Musrani, and Kandi Tilli in gram panchayat Gohar.
Virbhadra Singh assured the people of sympathetic consideration of their all demands and take necessary action. He also said that the link roads would also be constructed on priority so that maximum number of villages were connected besides ensuring that every gram panchayat get connected by the end of current financial year.
