Hamirpur man is the All India Prabhari of Literature and Publicity cell of BJP

HAMIRPUR: Amba Charan Vasistha of Nadaun kaswa of Hamirpur district has been named as the All India Prabhari of the literature and Publicity cell of the BJP. He was given this prestigious post by Raj Nath Singh, the All India BJP chief during reshuffle of Prabharis made on Tuesday. This is a rare honor given to any Himachali by the BJP.
A former Himachal Pradesh government officer who spent most of his time with the ministers as their Private Secretary as well as in the Himachal Pradesh state secretariat, Mr. Vasistaha remained as the Private Secretary of former Chief Minister, Shanta Kumar for most of the period. He had also served with Mr. Kumar while he was the Union Public distribution Minister, under Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Mr. Vasistha who is in Hamirpur these days in connection with the party’s election campaign for the bye election to Hamirpur Lok Sabha seat was happy to listen to the good news. He said that he would work with utmost care and zeal to spread the messages of the party to the masses.
