The enthusiasm among the people of Shimla town in the MC elections reflects the true colours of Indian democracy. In a government dependent system, personal issues certainly dominate over the developmental issues. People who are actively associated with political parties have an eye on their self interests that are satisfied by superseding the normal course with political influence.
Entry in politics in a developing country serves many goals which we all know and have perhaps accepted it. In such a situation, the government employees must be allowed to participate actively and share the fruits. After all they have similar needs and live in a democratic set up, not in the imperialism or slavery.
I agree with you Mr. Sharma. Thanks for your comments. Please keep reading & encouraging us.
