Himachal Cabinet approved exemption of Toll Tax to the Army Personnel and their families subject to certain conditions.
Cabinet approved creation and upgradation of 4,148 posts of various categories in different departments of the State governmen.
4,002 posts in Education Department of teaching and non-teaching categories (in newly opened and upgraded 113 senior secondary, 80 high and 98 middle school).
231 posts of different categories in the Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Kangra at Tanda.
3 posts of Professors, 7 posts of Assistant Professors and 15 posts of Lecturers in the Government Dental College, Shimla.
43 posts of Animal Husbandry Assistants upgraded to that of Chief Pharmacists and 12 posts of drivers in Animal Husbandry Department.
21 posts of Assistant Conservator of Forests.
1 post of Assistant Professor Nuclear Medicine in the department of Radiotherapy of IGMC, Shimla.
1 post of Silk Seed Production Officer in the department of Industries through direct recruitment.
