Himachal celebrates 58th Republic Day

58th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm throughout the State today. State-level function was held at historic Ridge Maidan, Shimla.
V.S. Kokje, Governor unfurled the National Flag and took salute at an impressive march-past presented by the contingents of Police, ITBP, Home Guards, Army Regiments, NCC and Ex-servicemen. Captain Iqbal Singh of J& K Rifles commanded the parade.
The tableaux exhibited by various Departments and Corporations of the State depicted the development, the State had made in recent years.
Cultural programs presented by cultural troupes of the State as well as from the neighboring States entertained the people on the occasion.
