Parliamentary Support Group for Tibet in Himachal assembly

Mrs. Gyari Dolma, Dy Speaker Tibetian Parliament in exile and other from Tibetan delegation meeting with Governor and other HP govt. officials.
HP Govt. has formed a H.P. Legislature Forum for Tibet after obtaining consensus of all the members of the Legislative Assembly and Opposition in the H.P. Vidhan Sabha premises and presided over the 1st meeting of the Forum.
Two delegations of the Tibetan Assembly comprising of Vice-Chair Mrs. Dolma Gyari, and member of the Standing Committee of the Assembly, Mrs. Nawang Lhamo, visited Shimla from 21 to 22 August to finalize the registration and the inception of the Parliamentary Support Group for Tibet in the Himachal Vidhan Sabha.
Besides preserving, promoting and strengthening the centuries old cultural, historical and religious ties between India and Tibet, it also supports the welfare of the Tibetans and the cause of Tibet.
