Hamirpur: The process of national history re-writing, started by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), is gaining momentum in different parts of the country. In Himachal Pradesh (HP), Hamirpur district has taken a lead in this respect by opening a research centre for this purpose at Neri village. A huge complex, constructed by an outfit of RSS, has been built at the village. RSS chief KP Sudershan will inaugurate the second phase of the complex, to be used for research work, on October 28.
A three-day seminar on Indian history and works done by the history re-writing organisation will be held from October 27 to 29. Senior RSS leader Thakur Ram Singh will be present at the seminar.
An RSS spokesperson said here on Monday that several research papers on the history of HP and other northern states would be presented at the seminar.
