Heritage Hotels of Himachal

Summers are coming and I am putting up a series of Heritage hotels, their website address and few nice photographs, any one who is interested visiting HP this season may find them useful.
Also for adventure tourism there are endless opportunities in HP.Relief Riders are arranging a horse back tour from Spiti Valley to Leh/Ladhakh region on Spitian horses.
River Parvati offers tremendous white water river rafting possibilities and those who are Kayak lovers would find it very challenging to navigate the tough waters of Parvati river.
Trekking is of course a major part of tourism back in Himachal and from Pin Parvati Trek to Spitian trek and Kullu, Manali offers tremendous opportunities. Manikaran trek is a wonderful experience and it offers a wide variety of sight seeing and of course at the end of trek a hot Sulphur bath in the Manikaran’s famous Gurudwara ( Sikh’s worship place). Manimahesh trek is also famous but is for very very experienced trekkers.
Para and Hang gliding has already become the major source of tourism as well as Revenue for local very experienced pilots. Every year in last three years HP govt. arranged a Pre World Cup tournament in Para Gliding in Bir/Biling area of Kangra district. Which has been very successful and already the preparation are in full swing for organizing a World cup which would of course bring the very best pilots from all over the world. Local Pilots from HP are becoming a challenge! Many of these pilots are running the schools for fresher and rides are available at very fair price.
