Pakistan in India Update
Sorry that I haven’t posted for a while or answered questions we have been up in North India with the email and Internet down because of poor weather conditions, Snow hail sleet and ice, very cold for a warm up game!
Dharamashala is a very beautiful and scenic place and well worth a visit but unfortunately the weather made the trip very frustrating.
While the batsmen made some runs and spent some time at the crease the low bounce and slowness of the pitch was very different to the conditions we expect in Mohali.
We were looked after well and the Hotel was 750 feet above sea level in the Mountains. Of interest this is the home of the Dali Lamar who has a Buddhist monastery in the hills having left Tibet for political reasons.
Hopefully I will be able to get back to answering some questions on Monday when I can purchase an Internet card.
All members of the team are fit and there is a general sense of anticipation as the Test match approaches. We practice today at 1400hrs and again tomorrow at about 12 noon.
